Group clash detection results by conditions. Currently, iTwin design review uses the “cluster” option to group the clashes related to the same elements. More options are needed for the group view.
Set
Group clashes by Set A or Set B. We sometimes need to check the results of the set of core elements. For example, we care more about the “structural elements” in the clash detection between structural and electrical disciplines.
Model(file)
Group the clashes by the original files in which the elements are.
Category(Level)(category)
group clashes by the category of elements
Filter
Group clashes by search criteria. This functionality is based on the properties of elements and is more like the “search” functionality. We can create a saved search with criteria to filter the clash elements, or we can use the existing “saved search.” It should be a powerful tool for grouping/filtering clashes/elements. All the element properties can be used, as shown below.
BIM attributes. It depends on the element type, like wall width, pipe diameter.
BIM code/standard, like Uniclass, etc.

Sections (spatial range)
Group clashes by the physical spatial range. The user can create a range manually or use the existing “section” selection. It is related to another requirement: the ranges can be saved. Some options should be control how to select the range like inside, outside, overlap.
Industry elements
This option is designed for some specific industry elements. In general, the user has particular requirements on it.
Civil linear elements, like road and rail.
Group the clashes by distance, like every 5m or 10m.
Building Room(space) elements.
Group the clashes by room elements. We also need to consider whether room elements are in set A or set B.
